Melatonin is a hormone made naturally by your body. It is produced by the pineal gland in the brain but also found in other areas, such as the eyes, bone marrow and gut. Melatonin works together with your body’s circadian rhythm. In simple terms, the circadian rhythm is your body’s internal clock. It lets you know when it’s time to sleep, wake and eat. Melatonin also helps regulate your body temperature, blood pressure and hormone levels.

 

SleepWell enriched by an effective ingredient like Hops are the female flowers from the hop plant, Humulus lupulus, which is most commonly found in beer, producing its bitter flavor. Hops also have a long history of use in herbal medicine, dating back to at least the 9th century in Europe. They have traditionally been used to treat a variety of ailments, ranging from indigestion to leprosy. Hops extract (Humulus lupulus) may aid sleep and help promote a sense of calm and well-being. Hops extract is packed with alpha acids, rich in beta acids, contains essential oils, and is loaded with flavonoids. Hops extract has natural anti-inflammatory properties

 

One of the most effective ingredients in SleepWell is Chamomile extract that has a long list of potential health benefits. It contains high levels of antioxidants and flavonoids and may contribute to healthy skin and benefit heart health. It helps with digestion and promotes healthy teeth and gums. Chamomile extract may also support a balanced mood and sleep.

Passion Flower (Passiflora Incarnata) may help treat anxiety and insomnia. Native Americans have used passionflower to treat a variety of conditions. These include boils, wounds, earaches, and liver problems. In Europe, people have used Passion Flower to treat restlessness, agitation, and anxiety.

 

Valerian Root (Valeriana  Officinalis) is commonly used for its sedative and anxiety-reducing effects. Valerian root is often referred to as “nature’s Valium.” In fact, this herb has been used since ancient times to promote tranquility and improve sleep. It also supports a balanced mood, promotes women’s sexual health, and supports healthy heart function.

 

Recommended Dose: Adults: 1 capsule 30 minutes before bedtime. For Jet Lag, take once a day at bedtime after darkness has fallen, while travelling and at destination until adaptation to the new daily pattern. For occasional  and short-term use.

 

Cautions and Warnings:

 

Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. If you are taking one of the following medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedatives, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, or steroids.

• L-Theanine 100 mg
• N-Acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine 1.5 mg

 

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

Citric acid, D-sorbitol, dextrose, mango flavor, orange flavor, peach flavor, silicon dioxide, stearic acid, stevia rebaudiana leaf, sucrose, talc, xylitol.

 

Recommended storage condition:
